West Metro Christian Home Educators is a homeschooling support group
serving the West Metro area of Denver. We strive to raise our children
according to Biblical principles, and we have joined together to
support and encourage each other in the challenging and rewarding
task of schooling our children at home.
Our group is a Christian group, and we seek to honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by freely expressing our faith through the various activities offered by our group. However, being a Christian is not a requirement to become a member in and participate with our group. All we ask is that every member adhere to a reasonable standard of common courtesy, morality, and respect.
West Metro Christian Home Educators offers a variety of activities for homeschool enrichment. One of the primary activities we offer is a physical education class twice a month. Other activities include field trips at various times throughout the year as well as special events like a Christmas party, a talent/awards show, and an education fair. A support group for parents meets once a month for more focused support and encouragement.
